So I rebooted the crappy "homeless" computer, logged into the terminal at F1, and installed testdisk. Solution is quite simple just disable driver for floppy and reboot the system. Check cabling to make sure it is set. It sounds like you need to specify some boot parameters from the installation options screen by pressing F6 and deleting --quiet splash from the end of the line, then adding the before your computer starts press F2 or del to get into the BIOS.
