Once you are logged on to that computer as "joe accounting", can you successfully connect to the domain controller that is assigned to %LOGONSERVER% environment variable? Domain name is used. If you don't know a local machine administrator password, we can't help further. You have been logged on using previously stored account information. Depending on the error message, you can resolve the issue by changing the domain name the application uses or by contacting customer support.
