Obviously the fan had just sucked in some dirt or dust. Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post. Cleaning the whole laptop internals did the trick. Much appreciated. click site

Next morning, I plugged in the new fan again and while the computer goes on, the problem is still there - within 10 seconds it shuts down. I started blowing air in the FAN 4 -5 times but it didnt work out.. San Error

Recently, its given me the ‘fan error message at the top left corner of my screen. Are there some tips or hints to do to avoid this problem? I figured out that if I got it running and tapped on the fan assembly, it would freeze.

Ive already have the latest update for my A31 (get113). Keep in mind, that in the fan assembly picture, the top fan displayed is the one that I ordered. However, im willing to bet its the cmos/bios battery. Lenovo Support Operating System and PC/Mobo make/model etc.

Freaked out totally. Any suggestions for bios changes? IML Tech April 4, 2009 | Vineet, I have to manually shut it off and when try to restart sometimes it does but sometimes it does not. But the instant I plug in AC power, the fan revs up dramatically, then the whole computer shuts down.

Try removing memory modules one by one and test the laptop with each module separately. Have you tried a different Ethernet cable. Buying a replacement (internal) fan seems to be what I was looking for. my review here All rights reserved.
