Ibm Thinkpad Error Code 00192
Fans are spinning as normal. Putting it back together is a bit of a cheap hack but it seems to work well enough. The keyboard is the same for all 600's. If I could put a system board from a 600e in my 600, then maybe i can increse the processor speed too? Thank you. It looks like you've got a problem with either the processor fan, system board, or battery. But now it just gives me an ERROR 00192. When I turned it back on, it showed the error message that sent me to the ‘set the date' screen. I now have 3 error codes: 00173 00192 00163 So I guess the battery might have been fine and the 00192 error for the fan could be a bad fan or That is when I got the 3 codes instead of just the one.
I did boot up to the set-up screen to try to find it earlier, but did not know how to decode the number given. I eventually got it back a year or so later but it wouldn't boot. I ordered the battery on e-Bay. Thanks a ton man! Should I bother to buy a new fan?
