Ibm Thinkpad 600 Error 00192
I'm interested in knowing how this went. I press OK 4. If you still get the same error, you likely have a bad CPU fan or system board. SoI changed the CMOS backup battery, now the battery shows 3 V.Now when I switch on the Thinkpad with the new CMOS battery, I get error codes 163 and 173.The window click site
The latest for my TP600 as per the IBM site is 1.22. I picked one up at Radio Shack for under $3.50 with tax. And what do you know, the fan started blowing and the thing booted up??? I looked up the FRU part number from IBM and got 10L1711 for my TP600.

When you get the new fan installed, keep your hand near the exhaust port as you switch the computer on. I think I spent $3 for the battery on eBay, including postage. It read 2.83v.
