I tried a paper clip to spin it but no life. It's nice to see a revival of sorts, mostly because I like having lots of choices as a consumer and as a corporate equipment decision maker. The batery soultion was very helpful. The keyboard is the same for all 600's. I'd suggest cleaning the CMOS battery contact with some compressed air and/or a q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol.
The one that looks like a cylinder and a ? they stay there. As a moderator on TDIClub.com, I know how forums work and the veterans don't like answering questions that have been asked a dozen times already.
