The resource cannot be found. In that list you should see ASP .NET v1.1.4322 (if you’re running the .NET 1.1 framework) and the Status for it will be set to Prohibited. I can browse the the service's asmx page no problem but once we add the method name onto the end of it I get a 404. Hence it tries to find a controller with that name and a method with the name same as that of the operation inside that controller.

Yes, the error is different than the default one. Similar could be the reason why Montane could experience errors, that's why I asked what happens if he request the url directly
