Hp Officejet 6210 Paper Jam Error

HP tech support had me go through everything I had already done then had me reset the machine but it still says "paper jam" every time I try to use it. The carriage assembly, which holds the cartridges, stalls. After 5 years, the printer finally works! Try to print a self-test report after every solution even if the solution resolves the issue. Can you explain how you removed the cover to get to the timing device? Loading...Oops :Please try again.

My problem now is that the print moves to the right a little eachline. HP was no help at all. and get the same message as the printer emits a few beeps. The 6210 had it in the adf part.

How does HP not know about this?

Going the other way might cause the strip to fall off. Do all of it that is exposed then slide the carriage to the other side and clean the strip section that was hidden by it. I lubed it with some silicon wax and now the carriage can position itself all the way to the right - it now locks itself in correctly. Also, make sure that there are no obstructions under or around the carriage to block it from moving.

If the issue persists, continue to the next step.
