I print very infrequently (about 10 pages in 6 months?) and the HP 56 (original) cartridges, still with much ink in them, quit working after that time. Respond to this 0 It sounds either like a clogged or dried printer cartridge, or aprinter cartridge recognition problem (usually that gives you some errorcode though).
