See picture below. Unplug the 3 connectors circled as callout #1 in the picture below. I have replaced the feed and seperation rollers and the fuser (which was noisy). Check the MIO card, remove, clean contacts, reinstall. If so turn the power off and remove the screws which secure the formatter and slide the formatter out.

First thing I would do is go to HP.com check the latest firmware version and if yours is not the latest download it and instructions for installing.
