A simple test is to take away power for example from the optical drive/ the 12v molex or sata style power feed from the Psu. New one on me. Nothing worked so I plugged the original parts in and i got a black screen with a blinking white line in the top left corner. Warning: No bootable drives detected.

I fix the problem by deleting all user data drives from the HDD Group Boot Priority, leaving only the bootable drive in the list. The order that you mention for the drives is actually the boot order, not where the drive is connected to the motherboard.

Never again 12:44 06 Sep 11 Update... Hi,My computer suddenly went blue and told me it had shut down to avoid a failure. That is when it reported BioHD-3 and said no bootable drives detected.
If HD is listed then choose that and see if you get a different message.
