Is it the file that converts out of Handbrake that doesn't allow IDVD to burn a disk properly. Blank Single Layer (SL) DVDs can only hold 4.7GB of data so I had a big problem. People have been searching for clues for years, and Apple seems to have dismissed the problem all together. By changing to High Quality or Professional, you may be able to fit a large movie onto a Single Layer disk. Welcome to Mac-Forums!
Usually when you have a DVD that's too big, you can change the encoding settings to fit more on the disc.
