I just got this error message again. All rights reserved. Now; I'tt try re-inserting them differently and see if it works again. One thing: I've been trying to get a still picture from my film, but can't figure out how to do it.

Under that delete com.apple.iDVD.plist. Roxio Toast It seems that Best Performance takes up the most disk space, while High Quality and Professional Quality take up a few gigabytes less.
Let us know a. Latest OSX 10.5.7 and latest iDVD 7.0.4 Plenty of free Hard drive space, no apps running besides iDVD, 4GB RAM. In addition, iDVD required another 15GB to burn the movie. You mention exporting it, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it. Lower the encoding quality in iDVD - There are three rather confusing encoding settings in iDVD's "Project Info" settings - Best Performance, High Quality and Professional Quality. For some reason iDVD leaves the red box on in preview mode.

This consumes a huge amount of processing power too so it's best not use your Mac during this time if you can help it. Guess I jinxed myself on that statement.
